Rotaract's Mission
Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as community and workplace leaders. Clubs all across the world participate in international service initiatives as part of a worldwide effort to promote peace and understanding. "Rotaract" is an abbreviation for "Rotary in Action," though the term was derived from a combination of "Rotary" and "Interact" (International + Action), a high school level program established by Rotary International in 1962. Rotaract clubs are members of Rotary International. Through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders, we serve others, promote integrity, and advance global understanding, goodwill, and peace. |

No challenge is too big for us!
Rotaract is dedicated to these causes:
|
"Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships.
Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world." - Rotary International |
